By finding out what your clients think, you can get a quick 'reality check' on how your business is performing and find out what they really value. The spin-offs are:
an awareness of where your business is now as seen through the eyes of your clientsclarity on whether your business development objectives are truly focused on client needsa knowledge of what clients value which can be used to increase your marketing effectiveness
Through the independent collection and analysis of feedback from clients, I provide businesses with that all-important external perspective. My speciality is market research in the form of online surveys as a means of collecting feedback, but I can also talk to them face to face, on the phone, on their own, in a group, whatever is most appropriate.
Client feedback really helps align your marketing to new clients. By finding out what clients are typically looking for initially, and what makes them choose and stay with you, you'll be in a position to create marketing material that resonates.
It's also a confidence boost to get positive feedback from clients which can sometimes pleasantly surprise you. Even on those few occasions when it doesn't, it can only help you to improve what you do for your clients and is a real learning opportunity.
